We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Finance Systems Administrator to join our dynamic team in the North East region. *Responsibilities: *
- Maintain, upgrade, and troubleshoot finance-related software applications and hardware, ensuring system availability, performance, and data security.
- Collaborate with the Finance department to identify system requirements and implement solutions to improve efficiency and accuracy of financial processes.
- Provide technical support to users across the organization in relation to finance systems, including troubleshooting issues, training, and documentation.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive reports and analysis using financial data, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies regarding financial systems.
- Coordinate with internal and external IT teams to resolve complex technical issues and ensure seamless integration of finance systems with other organizational systems.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and advancements in finance systems technology to continuously improve our operations.
*Qualifications: *
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degrees are highly desirable.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Finance Systems Administrator or similar role.
- Proficiency in finance software applications such as SAP, Oracle Financials, Microsoft Dynamics GP, etc.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements is highly desirable.
- Certifications such as CISA, CISSP, or similar are advantageous.
